Participation Information & Expectations
Lesson Attendance
Team members are expected to:
● Attend lessons weekly at the scheduled time, for the full duration
● Notify the team coach as soon as possible if unable to attend
● Arrive on time and be ready to start
Please Bring to Every Lesson:
● Water bottle
● Required equipment (rods, clubs, aesthetic practice skirt if needed)
● Hair tied back
● Appropriate attire such as a plain leotard or top with leggings/shorts
Your team coach may manage some equipment items.
Lessons may occasionally be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. extreme weather or coach unavailability).
Coaches will notify families of any replacement practices or changes to public holiday schedules.
Competitions
● All teams are expected to attend the CASA State Championships held in Adelaide each August/September.
● Please advise your coach immediately if you/your child may not be able to participate.
● Speak with your team coach for detailed competition information.
Team Facebook Pages
Each team has a private Facebook group for:
● Lesson reminders
● Changes/cancellations
● Practice videos
● Extra calisthenics opportunities
If you prefer not to use Facebook, please discuss alternative communication methods with your coach.
Code of Conduct for Team Members
All team members are expected to uphold the following:
Positive Attitude: Come to team classes ready to contribute to a friendly, supportive, and successful team.
Teamwork: Work equally hard for yourself and your team.
Respect: Cooperate with your coach, team members, and club members.
Be respectful to all other teams and participants.
Safety & Behaviour:
No foul language or physical violence.
Zero tolerance for bullying.
Report any bullying or inappropriate behaviour to your coach or the Executive Committee.
Complaints
If a coach, team member, or parent/carer has concerns, please:
- Speak with the team coach first.
- If the issue remains unresolved, contact a member of the Executive Committee.
Team Member Agreement
When registering through the RevSport Portal, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following:
● Pay all team membership costs in full and on time.
● Understand that absence from lessons will not result in a refund of fees.
● Communicate with your coach as the first point of contact for all team matters.
● Rest if injured until cleared to participate. Can sit in on class and watch if able to.
● Withdrawals: CASA registration fees are non-refundable. Partial club fee refunds may be granted if costs have not been incurred.
Financial Information
Port Lincoln Calisthenics Club is a not-for-profit association run for the benefit of its members.
Our costs are met through:
● Member fees
● Fundraising activities
● Grants
The Executive Committee is responsible for ensuring:
● Financial viability
● Timely payment of CASA fees and insurance
● Fair cost-sharing across all members
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer) is responsible for:
● Setting fees
● Managing payments
● Approving payment plans or individual agreements
Annual Fees
Fees are calculated based on:
● Length of weekly lessons
● Hall hire
● Competition entry fees
● Costume costs
Family discounts: 10% off instalment fees for second and subsequent participating family members.
The club is registered with the School Sports Voucher Program (one or both $100 vouchers can be used).
CASA Registration
Paid through RevSport and covers:
● Team insurance
● Music copyright fees
● Theatre maintenance
● Administration costs
Members must be registered with CASA and fees paid before participating in classes.

Failure to pay on time may result in:
● Removal from the team
● Exclusion from classes and competitions
If you need a Payment Plan, please speak with the Secretary, Treasurer, your team coach, or another Executive Committee member.
